NYX Black Label Lipstick in Midnight Dinner: Review, Swatches and FOTD

NYX is one drugstore brand that I totally love and Lip products are one of the strength of this brand.  Recently I got a lipstick from NYX and it was a black label lipstick I have never tried lipstick from this line, so I was really excited to try it out.  This is another addition in my lipstick collection.

NYX's Black Label Lipstick has rich emollient properties that ensure that the color glides on and envelops your pout at the same time. From Extreme Red to Earthy to Hot Pink, Black Label Lipstick is available in a variety of lipsmacking hues.

Shade:-  Midnight Dinner is gorgeous plum shade with no shimmer and creamy formula.

Packaging:-  This lipstick comes in a rectangle grey black packaging with transparent bottom from where you can see the shade.  The packaging is very sturdy and travel friendly.

Texture and Formula:-  NYX Black Lable lipsticks has a very creamy formula, they glide on very smooth like butter.  The buttery creamy formula leaves a glossy finish.  These lipsticks are very moisturising, there is no need of any lipbalm underneath.

Pigmentation:-  The pigmentation is superb, single swipe is more than enough and you can definitely build up the color as per your requirement.  But these are very pigmented.

Wear Time:-  It stays for 4-5 hours nearly with mild snacking and after that the color wear offs but still some stain is left.

Scent:-  The lipstick has a mild fruity smell.

Transfer:  Because of its creamy formula it does get transfer of whatever come in contact.

Thumbs Up:-

1.  Very creamy formula.

2.  Sturdy packaging unlike Round Lipsticks from NYX.

3.  Moisturising on lips.

4.  Does not settle into lines.

5.  Does not look patchy.

6.  Very soft and smooth texture.

7.  No shimmer, glossy finish.

Thumbs Down:-

1.  Because of the creamy formula, tend to transfer.

Overall, this is a beautiful muted plum shade which is very much wearable, it will look gorgeous on every skin tone. I am not a fan of dark shades but when I wore this shade I absolutely loved it. I would recommend everyone to try atleast one lipstick from this range.
