The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Shampoo Review

My hairs have been behaving like crazy they are gettting drier and frizzy.  I have been on a look out for a good shampoo that is free from sulphates and silicones, because these shampoo are good in controlling hair fall plus they are really gentle on hair which does not strip the moisture.  So I have been using these The Body shop Rainforest Moisture shampoo and Hair Mask for about 2 months and I think this is the right time to share my views on Rainforest Shampoo from The Body Shop.

My Experience:-  The Body Shop Rainforest Shampoo comes in a plastic bottle with flip flop opening.  It is a clear runny kind of liquid and has a very strong honey kind of smell which does not linger after hair wash.  It does not lather like the other shampoo I have used and I thought it will not be able to take out the oil which I used before head wash but to my surprise it was able to take out all the oil.  I use this shampoo along with The Body Shop Rainforest Mask and it works great that way.  It leaves my hair soft and smooth but once I tried it without mask and my hair was not that smooth and soft so I always use both the products together now,  I believe this way this shampoo works better.  My hair definitely feels less dry and less frizzy on the very first day of head wash.  To my surprise my hairfall also reduced alot which is really nice.  Overall I am quite happy with the product.

Thumbs Up:-

1.  Free of chemicals.  No Silicones, Parabens, Sulphates, Colourants.
2.  Removes oil from hair without stripping off the moisture.
3.  Scalp doesnot feel oily even after 3 days.
4.  Controls hair fall to certain extent.
5.  Makes the hair smooth if used with the hair mask from the same range.

Thumbs Down:-
1.  Smell,  I am not too fond of the strong scent.

Overall, I quite like this product but I will not repurchase it I would like to try something else which is free from Parabens and Silicones.  I have not yet found my HG shampoo and will search for it.  What is your HG shampoo?
