Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow Review, Swatches and FOTD!

Revlon is my favorite drugstore brand, they always come up with amazing products.  They have recently launched some new products, and one of my recent buy was Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow.  I found this in Walgreens during one of my visit. When I saw these first they remind me of Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick so I grabbed one of the Highlighting Palette I have been using these for quite a while now and now I am ready to give my thoughts on these.

Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow

My Experience:-  Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow comes in square black sturdy packaging with transparent lid on the top.  The packaging is quite compact and its definitely safe to travel with.  The palette has extremely cute and eye catching packaging.  I have got Rose Glow shade which has pink undertones to it.  The color combination looks superb in this palette.  The palette has 5 strips wherein 3 of them are highlighting one and 2 of them are colors.  This will look great on fair to medium skin tones, deeper skin tones can try Bronze Glow shade which has bronze shades. The texture is quite soft and powdery and they are very easy to blend.  I would suggest tapping the brush after swirling the brush in the palette.  The pigmentation of individual strips is not that amazing.  So this is only for highlighting purpose and if you want color also this may not be your choice.  I swirl my blush palette over and apply it on the top of my cheeks and it gives the beautiful sheen without making you look like a disco ball.  I have combination-oily skin so I am not a fan of really shimmery products.  It is not super shimmery product which I love however this product can't eliminate the need of the blush, because even if you concentrate on the color part of the palette there is hardly any color shows off when you apply it.  They last for 5-6 hours.

Thumbs Up:-
1.  Gorgeous pink rosey shade.
2.  Soft texture which blends easily.
3.  Decent pigmentation for highlighting.
4.  Decent price compared to other shimmer brick available in the market.
5.  Gives gorgeous sheen without looking like disco ball.

Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow

Thumbs Down:-
1.  Gives sheen to the cheeks and no color, so you need to use blush also for some color.

2.  Pigmentation could have been better.

Overall,  I LOVE this palette, its gorgeous rosy palette which gives beautiful sheen to the cheeks without looking like clown and for oily or combination skin beauties this is the perfect shimmer palette.
